The Nanlite Lantern Softbox is a softbox shaped like a traditional Chinese lantern. Its spherical shape and fabric covering are reminiscent of a Chinese lantern, which is why this type of modifier is also known as a “China ball.” This design provides soft, flattering light in all directions.
The lantern features an Easy-Up ring for quick and effortless setup. Simply click the rods into place to assemble it, then press the release button to quickly collapse the lantern when you're finished.
A skirt is included, allowing you to control and direct the light when an omnidirectional light source is not required.
This softbox is fully compatible with the Nanlite FS-150, FS-200 and FS-300, as well as the Forza 200, 300, 300B and 500. It is also compatible with most lights featuring the popular Bowens mount, making it a versatile accessory for both your current and future lighting setups.
