The Zoom LiveTrak L-20R is a rack-mount digital mixer designed for live performances, rehearsals, multitrack recording and audiovisual productions. Compact and versatile, it combines a full digital mixing system, multitrack recorder and USB audio interface in a single unit.
The L-20R features 20 channels, including 16 mono XLR/TRS inputs and 2 stereo inputs, allowing multiple audio sources to be handled simultaneously. It offers high-quality microphone preamps as well as +48V phantom power for use with condenser microphones.
Its built-in recording system can capture up to 22 tracks simultaneously to an SD card, while providing playback of up to 20 tracks. The LiveTrak L-20R can also operate as a 22-in / 4-out USB audio interface, making it easy to integrate into computer-based recording and production workflows.
One of the L-20R's key features is its remote operation. The mixer can be controlled from a compatible iPad using Zoom's dedicated control app. This allows the unit to be positioned directly on stage or close to the performers while the sound engineer controls the mix remotely.
